Private musculoskeletal assessment for clearer next steps

Suitable For

  • Recent injuries and suspected soft-tissue problems
  • Persistent joint, muscle, tendon, back or nerve symptoms
  • People unsure whether to book physiotherapy, imaging, an injection or a specialist

A considered starting point

An MSK problem is not always neatly labelled at the outset. The assessment brings together your history, current symptoms, previous letters or scans and practical goals, so that a consultant can apply expert judgement to the next step.

Elite does not replace emergency care or promise a particular diagnosis or outcome. It helps make a sensible, individual plan when the route through care is unclear.

  • Review of relevant existing information
  • Coordination of clinically appropriate investigations
  • Access to the subspecialist best matched to the concern

Care coordination across Sussex

For Brighton, Hove and wider Sussex patients, the value is often in avoiding a scattergun search for appointments. If further assessment is appropriate, the concierge can coordinate it and keep the pathway understandable.

A recent injury and a long-running tendon, joint, muscle, back or nerve problem can both need thoughtful triage; urgency depends on the symptoms, not simply how long they have been present.

Fees and urgent symptoms

The Complete Elite Care Pathway is £495. Investigations, treatment and additional specialist consultations are charged separately. The concierge fee is self-funded and is not normally insured; eligible investigations or treatment may be covered subject to insurer authorisation.

Elite is not an emergency department. For life-threatening or serious immediate symptoms call 999 or attend A&E. Where symptoms are urgent but not life-threatening, use NHS 111 or an urgent NHS service.

Common Scenarios

A swollen knee after a weekend injury

You can walk but are uncertain whether the twist needs imaging, rehabilitation or a knee opinion.

Shoulder pain that has not settled

You have tried rest or treatment but want an informed view of what should be considered next.

Back pain with unclear options

You have symptoms into a leg and need help separating appropriate routine care from a reason to seek urgent NHS advice.
