Sussex joint pain support

A clearer route through joint pain

Joint pain can disrupt work, sleep and movement without making the right specialty obvious. Elite provides consultant-led assessment, then coordinates clinically appropriate investigations and relevant subspecialist access.

Areas Served

For Sussex patients balancing a new joint problem with everyday commitments.

Useful across coastal and inland Sussex when a direct route to the right expertise is unclear.

Suitable For

  • Hip, knee, shoulder, ankle or multi-joint symptoms
  • Persistent pain despite initial conservative care
  • Questions about a scan result, injection, rehabilitation or surgical opinion

Understanding the problem before choosing a route

Joint symptoms can overlap with tendon, muscle, spine and nerve problems. Consultant judgement considers your story, function and relevant prior investigations rather than treating a report or a joint name in isolation.

Elite supports both recent injury and persistent musculoskeletal symptoms, including those who are unsure which specialist to book.

Coordinated, clinically appropriate care

Where appropriate, Elite coordinates investigations and access to the relevant subspecialist. A hip or knee concern may need lower-limb expertise; other patterns may be better directed elsewhere.

The purpose is an informed plan, not an assurance that imaging, injection or surgery will be recommended.

Fees and emergencies

The Complete Elite Care Pathway costs £495. Investigations, treatment and additional specialist consultations are separately charged. The concierge fee is self-funded and not normally insured; eligible investigations and treatment may be covered subject to insurer authorisation.

Elite is not an emergency department. For life-threatening or serious immediate symptoms call 999 or attend A&E. For urgent but non-life-threatening symptoms, contact NHS 111 or an urgent NHS service.
